Tipos de flujos en procesos productivos
Además, los procesos productivos también se pueden categorizar según la disponibilidad de acciones inmediatas en el proceso.
Existen tres tipos de flujos: flujo en línea, flujo intermitente y flujo por proyecto.
El flujo en línea se caracteriza por una secuencia lineal de operaciones
necesarias para producir el producto o servicio.
El flujo intermitente, por otro lado, se caracteriza por una distribución de planta por proceso, donde cada centro de trabajo genera servicios específicos solo a los productos que los demanden.
Por último, el flujo por proyecto se usa para producir un producto único y se elabora como un solo artículo.

En conclusión, existen diferentes categorías de procesos productivos basados en la forma en que se generan los productos y la disponibilidad de acciones inmediatas en el proceso.
